SHU Centenary

The Scottish Homing Union 1907 - 2007

100 years of Pigeon Racing in Scotland

To celebrate the Centenary of the Scottish Homing Union, each Federation was presented with two Silver Medals, one for each old and  young bird race, to be decided by the members of each Federation.

My own Federation (Central) selected Huntingdon for the old birds and Ripon for the young birds.
Little did I know at the time, the Ripon race was going to be so memorable for myself, one that I'd remember for years to come.
